Verification and Trust

How we authenticate every item

Every placement is intentional. A considered selection of assets, experiences, and access points that carry cultural, strategic, or intrinsic value.

Qurio does not follow markets. It operates before them. It is defined by access.

Step 01

Documentation review

Seller-provided provenance, acquisition notes, and supporting evidence are reviewed before a lot is eligible to publish.

Step 02

Physical and visual inspection

Signatures, condition markers, item type, and presentation details are checked against the seller narrative and internal review notes.

Step 03

Context cross-check

The item is compared against the claimed player, fixture, or collection context so the published summary is not detached from reality.

Step 04

Lot summary and certificate reference

Published items carry an authentication summary and certificate-linked record so buyers have a clear basis for trust.

Common rejection reasons

  • Documentation gaps or unclear chain of custody
  • Physical condition inconsistent with the stated provenance
  • Signature or item details that fail review
  • Seller claims that cannot be supported by supplied evidence
